Children

It is important to recognise that every child is unique and learns through play, contextual repetition, self-initiated practice and exploration.  All treatment sessions are fun and engaging to ensure every movement experience builds confidence and independence.

I am experienced in assessing and treating children with:

  • difficulties with gross motor skill development or at risk of gross motor delay due to prematurity

  • difficulties with higher level balance skills including jumping, hopping, skipping and climbing

  • abnormal walking patterns including toe walking, knock knees, bowed legs, in-toeing/out-toeing

  • rehabilitation after surgery or fracture

  • fatigue, poor fitness and endurance

  • poor co-ordination

  • Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD)

  • Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)

  • ‘growing pains’

  • poor posture, pain or stiffness
